Italian / Papal States 1825 Figural Sterling Candlesticks – 36 ozt

You are bidding on a pair sterling (probably .800 standard) Papal States / Italy figural candlesticks.  They are in good condition.  They measure 12 inches tall, and weigh 36 troy ounces.  The pieces are marked with hallmarks, maker’s mark, and city marks for Angelo Giannotti, Rome, circa 1825.  The stems are topped by double-sided Bacchus busts.  There are no monograms or removals.  See an identical pair at a Sotheby’s auction estimated at $3,000.00 to $5,000.00.  We typically do not polish our silver items since the amount of oxidation and shine is a personal preference – the item will need to be cleaned.  Will sell with no reserve. Successful bidder shipping rate is within the US. Shipment within one to two days of receipt payment.  AZ residents pay sales tax.
