RARE SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE HORSES SERPENTS CANDLEABRA HENRY WILKINSON RARE

A very Rare & superb English Antique c.1844 Sheffield Silver Plate Fantastical Epergne Candleabra. Three Winged Serpent Horses encircle the base with amazing details holding three separate candle holders. Up and above is the top of the stick, holding one larger candle. Underneath this there are attached hangers to hold something, and I am not sure what but looks like an Epergne double use pieces. Made by Henry Wilkinson and having Screw on bolts on the base holding each horse on the base. There is an inscribed presentation on one side. If you look you will see just how detailed and well done this piece is. A masterpiece of workmanship and retaining all of it’s silver on plate and standing 13 1/2″ tall x 6″ from foot to foot. Great condition and marked underneath with Wilkinson’s mark. Appraised at $1200 and being offered for much less. You just never see pieces like this. Please check to see new items I list each week.
